HOW I WORK

Zero broken scroll.

I design the interface and then I build it. When the design or the codebase already exists, I treat it with the same care as if it were mine. Here's the process that keeps nothing from getting lost along the way.

  1. 01

    Design it, or take it apart

    I settle the design before writing a line: grid, type, states. When it comes from outside I take it apart just the same, with the reference site and the motion I have to match, and rebuild it in isolation until I know exactly how it behaves.

  2. 02

    Read the build

    If the site already exists, I learn how it's put together before I touch it: conventions, structure, what the previous developer decided and why.

  3. 03

    Section by section

    I build in pieces, each one finished before the next starts. Partial work that looks done is how projects rot.

  4. 04

    Notes, then changes

    Feedback comes in whole before I touch anything, and the round doesn't close until every point has an answer. That way nothing asked for gets lost between one review and the next.

  5. 05

    Fidelity check

    When it's done I compare the screen against the design at the pixel level. If it ships at 90% of what I designed, that's a failure, not a compromise.

  6. 06

    Ship it

    Deployed, tested across browsers, handed over with documentation the next developer can actually use.
